Now in my 60s, I have a hankering to get back into running. More cross country than sprinter I was never fast, but, as I used to tell people, you meet a different sort of person at the back. So, at the moment I am at the 'build up walking distance and speed' stage, and hope to add short intervals of running slowly (slow as I can without it being some form of walking).
